Free skincare and healthcare camp and skin diseases awareness session

Department of Biotechnology, Chandigarh College of Technology, CGC, Landran, Mohali organized a Free Skincare and Healthcare camp and an awareness session on “Fungal and bacterial skin diseases” on 11 March, 2024 for the Biotechnology and Microbiology students in collaboration with Dr Alka’s Skincare and Healthcare Mohali. The session was conducted by Dr. Rajeev Rai, Director and Dr. Ridhi, Cosmetology at Dr Alka’s Skincare and Healthcare. Dr Ridhi emphasized skin problems like acne, pigmentation other fungal and bacterial infections and their treatment. It enriched students with knowledge and ongoing research in the field of Microbiology. A free skincare and healthcare camp was also organized at the Biotechnology Department. In this camp, students and teachers actively participated and routine skin care consultation was given by Dr. Rajeev Rai, Dr. Ridhi, and Mr. Jasmeet Singh. Around 70 students and faculty members were benefitted from the camp.
