An Industrial Visit Organized to Bioage Equipment & Service, Mohali

An industrial visit was organized for the students of B.Sc. Biotechnology 1st Year to BioAge Equipment & Service, Mohali. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to industrial biotechnology and familiarize them with the functioning of a biotechnology production unit. During the visit, students explored the BioAge production unit and gained insights into various aspects of industrial production and fermentation technology. The students were introduced to the basic principles of fermenter design, construction, major components, working principles, and important specifications of industrial fermenters. The interactive session with technical personnel enable students to connect their classroom teaching with real world industrial applications and understand how fermentation technology is utilized at the production level. Overall, the industrial visit to BioAge was an informative and valuable learning experience that enhanced the students' practical understanding of fermentation technology.
