International Happiness Day

Department of Biotechnology, Chandigarh College of Technology, Landran, Mohali in association with the NSS Wing and Gene Pool Club, organized a vibrant celebration of International Happiness Day for faculty and staff on 20 March 2026. The event was centered around the theme “Childhood Memories of 90s Millennials,” aiming to rekindle nostalgia and share happiness among participants.

A series of engaging and entertaining activities were conducted as part of the celebration. These included a “Guess the 90s Shows” segment, where participants identified popular television programs from the 1990s, bringing back fond memories. Another highlight was the “Childhood Photo Guessing Game,” which created excitement and fun among faculty members.

The event also featured a lively “Hook Step” dance activity, where participants performed popular dance moves, adding energy and enthusiasm to the atmosphere. Additionally, several fun games were organized, promoting interaction, teamwork, and a sense of happiness among all present. The celebration successfully created a joyful and nostalgic environment, highlighting the importance of happiness, togetherness, and positivity.
