Staff Development Program on "Elevating Professionalism: Personality Development and Laboratory Best Practices"

The Department of Biotechnology, CCT, successfully organized a comprehensive Staff Development Program themed "Elevating Professionalism: Personality Development and Laboratory Best Practices." The event, held from 1st July 2024 to 5th July 2024, saw enthusiastic participation from all staff members.

The program commenced with an insightful keynote address by the Director Principal (CCP), Dr. Saurabh Sharma, who emphasized the significance of professionalism and continuous personal development in achieving excellence in the laboratory environment.

Throughout the event, various sessions covered key topics, including effective communication skills, time management, professionalism in the workplace, and leadership development. Experts conducted workshops on laboratory safety protocols, first aid instructions, mental health and work-life balance, and many more.

The event concluded with a valedictory session by the Head of the Department, Dr. Palki Sahib Kaur, who eloquently summarized the week's learnings and emphasized the importance of implementing these best practices in daily professional activities.

Overall, the Staff Development Program proved to be an enriching experience, reinforcing the commitment of CCT's Department of Biotechnology to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence.
