Inspiring Alumni Talk Bridges Global Success with Student Aspirations
The Department of Biotechnology, CCT, CGC Landran, had the privilege of welcoming back its distinguished alumnus, Gourav Raina (B.Sc. Biotechnology, 2009–12), who delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking session for students.
Currently based in Sydney, Gourav has carved a remarkable global career in the food industry. After advancing his studies in Food Technology in New Zealand, he gained extensive international exposure by working across more than 15 countries. Today, he contributes actively to the domains of food safety, quality assurance, and global food trade.
During the session, he shared his dynamic career journey, emphasizing the importance of adaptability, global exposure, and lifelong learning in achieving professional excellence. He also introduced students to his entrepreneurial ventures, including Food Globalized, where he serves as Co-founder and Director, and Ojas Life, a platform focused on holistic growth.
Adding depth to his talk, Gourav spoke about his work as a certified coach affiliated with global platforms like Mindvalley and ICF, emphasizing personal growth, spirituality, and meditation. He encouraged students to focus not only on professional success but also on inner development and purpose.
The interactive session concluded with a lively Q&A, where students gained valuable insights into global career opportunities, entrepreneurship, and self-transformation.
