Rally on awareness about preserving forest and ground water

Chandigarh College of Technology organised a rally on 12th November, 2024 at Rampur village to raise awareness on three critical issues: drug abuse, groundwater conservation, and forest preservation. The event brought together local community members, students, environmental activists, and various stakeholders to collectively discuss and advocate for solutions to these pressing concerns that are affecting both the local and global environment. Learning Outcomes- The rally was a significant step toward addressing the pressing issues of drug abuse, groundwater conservation, and forest preservation. The overwhelming participation from the community and the commitment shown by local authorities indicate that these are issues that concern everyone and require collective action. Moving forward, it is imperative to continue such efforts through more community outreach, educational programs, and policy advocacy.

Student Feedback- Students participated in a very enthusiastic way. They raised awareness about the importance of sustainable forest management.
