Industrial visit to National Institute of Pharmaceutical education and Research (NIPER), Mohali

On 18th February 2026, an industrial visit to the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) was organized for students of B.Sc. 2nd Semester. The students were accompanied by Dr. Shweta Kamboj and Dr. Ranju Kumari.

During the visit, the students were given a detailed tour of the institute’s advanced laboratories and research facilities, where they learned about various aspects of pharmaceutical research, drug development, quality control, and analytical techniques. They were also introduced to sophisticated instruments and modern technologies used in pharmaceutical analysis and formulation development.

The visit further included an interactive session with the faculty and research scholars, where students gained insights into ongoing research projects, regulatory standards, and career opportunities in pharmaceutical sciences and allied fields.

The interaction provided students with practical knowledge that complemented their academic curriculum, particularly in areas related to pharmaceutical chemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, and industrial applications. Overall, the visit was highly informative and enriching, leaving the students motivated and better equipped to understand the real-world applications of their subject.
