Industrial Visit to National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, Mohali
The Department of Biotechnology, CCT-CGC, Landran, organized an educational visit to the National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali, on 18 August 2026 for students of B.Sc. Biotechnology (3rd Semester) and B.Sc. Microbiology (5th Semester).
The visit provided students with valuable exposure to advanced research facilities, modern biotechnology applications, laboratory practices, and ongoing research in areas related to agriculture, food, health, and sustainable development. It enabled them to connect classroom concepts with real-world applications and understand the role of advanced instrumentation, innovation, and interdisciplinary research in biotechnology.
