 
										Expert Talk on Lifestyle Changes and Free Breast Screening Camp organized by Department of Biotechnology, CCT and Livasa Hospital
					Strengthening its commitment to health awareness, the Department of Biotechnology, CCT, CGC
Landran, in collaboration with Livasa Hospital, Mohali, organized an expert talk and a free
mammography screening camp on February 25, 2025. Dr. Puneet Kumar, Senior Consultant
Physician and Diabetes Specialist at Livasa Hospital, delivered an insightful talk on "Lifestyle
Changes Needed to Stay Healthy and Fit." This initiative aimed to promote preventive
healthcare and wellness among students, faculty, and the broader community. Dr. Puneet
emphasized the critical role of balanced nutrition and regular physical activity in maintaining
overall well-being. His practical guidance and detailed insights inspired attendees to adopt
healthier lifestyle choices. Alongside the expert talk,A free breast screening camp was also
organized to promote early detection of breast cancer. Open to women aged 25 and above, the
screening utilized the advanced, radiation-free iBreast Exam machine, benefitting over 40
participants. Additionally, Livasa Hospital conducted free routine health check-ups, including
blood pressure and blood sugar tests, reaching more than 60 individuals. The event was well-
received for its comprehensive approach to health awareness and preventive care. The initiative
