Educational Excursion to Pushpa Gujral Science City

The Department of Computer Applications (BCA) at Chandigarh organized an educational excursion to Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala on February 21, 2025. The trip aimed to enhance students' understanding of science through interactive exhibits and demonstrations. A group of 45 BCA students, accompanied by three faculty members - Dr. Suhail Ahmed, Ms. Rubina, and Ms. Ravia Uppal - joined the exciting excursion. Prof. (Dr.) Palki Sahib Kaur, College Director Principal, and Dr. Inderpreet Kaur, Head of Department, extended their best wishes for a safe and productive journey. The trip was an enriching experience, combining enjoyment with practical knowledge of scientific concepts. The students were thrilled to explore the Science City, which offered a treasure trove of lifelong learning. Highlights of the Trip were Dinosaur Park: A special attraction that fascinated the students, Laser Show: A mesmerizing display of light and sound, 3D Movie: A thrilling experience that recreated the first step on the moon, Earthquake Simulation: A realistic simulation that gave students a glimpse into the power of natural disasters. The students and their parents expressed gratitude to the management for organizing this marvellous educational trip.
