CCT Faculty Attended National Cybersecurity Conference in Delhi
Dr. Mandheer Kaur, Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Chandigarh College of Technology, Landran, Mohali, and Dr. Suksham, Assistant Professor, participated in a national conference on Cybersecurity Education and Talent Development held on January 20, 2026, at the AICTE Auditorium, New Delhi. The conference was organised by the LNJN National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (NFSU), Delhi Campus.
The event featured an expert talk by Mr. Victor Ivanovsky and multiple panel discussions involving eminent speakers such as Sh. Rajesh Kumar, IPS (I4C), Dr. Huzur Saran (IIT Delhi), Dr. Sambuddho Chakravarty (IIIT Delhi), Dr. Priyanka Jain (CDAC), and Dr. Deepak Raj Rao (NFSU). Senior officials and academicians including representatives from the Ministry of Defence, MeitY, JNU, MNIT Jaipur, IIIT Hyderabad, PEC Chandigarh and industry leaders from Deloitte, Secure Blink and TechD Cybersecurity also shared insights.
Key discussions focused on the current state of cybersecurity education, designing future-ready curricula, attracting talent to the cybersecurity domain and strengthening academia–industry collaboration. The conference highlighted the growing need for skilled cybersecurity professionals to address emerging digital threats at national and global levels.
