Campus to Board Room (C2B) Program 2026

The Department of Biotechnology, in collaboration with the Training and Placement Department (TPP), CGC Landran, successfully organized the five-day Campus to Board Room (C2B) Program 2026 from 1st to 5th June 2026 for final year B.Sc. Biotechnology and M.Sc. Biotechnology students.

The program was inaugurated by Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Head, Department of Biotechnology, who highlighted emerging trends, innovations, and career prospects in the biotechnology sector. Aptitude and verbal communication sessions conducted by Mr. Varinder and Ms. Sunensha from the Training and Placement Department strengthened students' analytical, problem solving, communication, and group discussion skills.

An inspiring entrepreneurship session was delivered by Ms. Deepanshi, Biotechnology Alumna (M.Sc Biotech 2022-24) and Entrepreneur, who shared her startup journey in mushroom cultivation and discussed value added products, business challenges, and government support schemes. Dr. Mohinder Pal, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, guided students regarding research careers, higher education opportunities, and fellowship programs in life sciences.

Ms. Priya Gupta, Biotechnology Alumna (M.Sc. Biotech 2020–22) and Manager at Fitelo, shared insights on corporate culture, workplace expectations, and essential industry skills. Dr. Aditya, Assistant Professor and Placement Coordinator, conducted session on Professional Skills and Career Readiness for Successful Placements.Students were also introduced to placement processes and profile building strategies by Ms. Shikha Virk, Assistant Professor and Placement Coordinator, CCP. Sessions on innovation and entrepreneurship were delivered by Dr. Deepika Sharma, Publication Head, RISE Department, and Dr. Suksham Pal, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, who highlighted startup ecosystems, funding opportunities, and entrepreneurial experiences. Ms. Diksha, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, delivered a session on career opportunities in the government sector for life science graduates, covering competitive examinations, research institutions, and public sector organizations.
