2 Day DST SERB Sponsored International Conference Kicked in CGC, Landran, Mohali at Department of Biotechnology

The highly anticipated International Conference concluded today i.e 27 th September, bringing together over 500 researchers, academics, and industry leaders from around the globe. The second day started with the Technical session by Dr Taraka Ramji Moturu, CEO and Co-founder, Peelon USA he spoke about the impact of biodegradable packaging. Followed by a session on Porous Carbon Template by Dr. Kaushik Ghosh, INST, Mohali. Next session was taken up by Dr. G.N. Nikhil, NIT, Jalandhar. He shared his views on Anaerobic Biorefinery for food waste valorisation. The concluding talk was delivered by Dr. Amit Bhattacharya, Technical Head, Arxada, UK who delivered his talk about Green and sustainable chemistries.

The conference concluded with valedictory ceremony during which participants from various universities and institutes were awarded with cash prizes for poster presentation and oral presentation. Under the category project display Anshika , Janvi and Manvi won first prize, second prize grabbed by Tanvi and Kanishika and third prize goes to Virpal , Tanu and Shivani Saini. In poster presentation first prize given to Neha Thakur, second prize given to Pritam hait and third prize was taken by Akhilesh and in oral presentation first prize was bagged by ms. Rajdeep kaur , second by Indu bala and third was given to Dr. Shivani.

Throughout the conference, participants engaged in lively discussions during breakout sessions, fostering an environment ripe for collaboration. This International Conference only highlighted groundbreaking work but also reinforced the importance of collaboration in driving progress.
