Visit to National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, Mohali for Entrepreneurship Awareness Program

On 10th March 2025, the Department of Biotechnology at CGC Landran organized a visit for a group of M.Sc. and B.Sc. students to attend the "Entrepreneurship Awareness Program" at BRIC-National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (BRIC-NABI), Mohali. Mr. Satyendra Singh Choudhary, CEO of the Technology Business Incubator at IISER, Mohali, and Ms. Komal Jaiswal, Founder and Director of Greenaffair, shared their insightful thoughts on entrepreneurship with the students. Dr. Sudip Ghosh, Co-Founder and Director of FerMenza, motivated students on building an entrepreneurial mindset. The experts provided valuable insights and addressed questions about the latest trends and emerging opportunities in the in the world of entrepreneurship. Overall, the program left the students feeling motivated and inspired to pursue their future goals. They gained a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship in the medical field, as well as the importance of obtaining the right education before starting a business.
