FREE MEDICAL CHECK UP CAMP ORGANIZED BY GENE POOL CLUB

“Gene Pool’ Club of Biotechnology Department, CGC Landran in collaboration with Grecian Hospital Sector 69 Mohali organized a free medical check-up camp at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Sahib, Sector 71 Mohali on 3.2.2020. Dr. Subhash MBBS and Dr Rama Bharti, MDS along with staff from Grecian Hospital conducted the free check up. In the camp various free services were provided like free consultation, blood pressure and Blood sugar check up and ECG were done. Grecian Hospital also offered discount of 30 per on other lab tests. People were also made aware about the PM-JAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna) of Ayushman Bharat. PM-JAY is the world’s largest health insurance/ assurance scheme fully financed by the government. PM-JAY provides cover of Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year, for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization across public and private empaneled hospitals in India. The camp received a huge response and more than 200 patients from Mohali were diagnosed by the experts during the camp and received free medicines. Doctors also advised patients to get regular check ups done. The team from Biotech dept CGC and Grecian hospital also said that they will continue to serve the people. Gurudwara committee and the village warmly welcomed the medical camp and got benefitted from the services of camp.
