Expert session on “Eye health and wellness” and free Eyesight Testing Camp

Department of Biotechnology, Chandigarh College of Technology, CGC, Landran, Mohali organized an expert session on “Eye health and wellness” on 12 September, 2024 for the Biotechnology and Microbiology students in collaboration with Sohana Hospitals, sector 77 Mohali. Department of Biotechnology always encourages development of professional and technical skill in students by providing a platform to gain knowledge and exposure. The session was conducted by Dr. Aakriti Sharma (Associate Consultant Ophthalmology). The doctor shared her valuable insights on various types of bacterial and fungal eye infections. The session was highly informative and compelling for the audience. The lecture emphasized eyes related problems like Blurred vision (called refractive errors), dry eyes, floaters, pink eyes and their treatment.
